If you provide a FEDEX envelop to receive your passport at your residence’s address, this envelop MUST mention:

From: your address (NOT the address of the French Consulate)
To: your address

Individuals have to apply with the following requirements, if they intend to travel to France with :

- Diplomatic, Official or service passport ;
- Laissez-passer issued by the United Nations organizations.


Please book an appointment online before applying for a visa. Click here for more information.

- Passport valid for a period of three months beyond the applicant’s last day of stay in the Schengen states. Please make sure your passport has a double blank page to affix the visa +ONE COPY of the main pages.

- 1 short stay application forms completely and legibly filled out. Please print in black. Indicate also your phone numbers and e-mail.

- 1 recent passport size photograph. DO NOT GLUE to the form.

- An official letter ("note verbale") from your embassy, or from the Department of state (for American officials) or from the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund... . This letter must specify your name, your position, the number and nature of your passport, the dates of travel, and the reasons of the trip.
